People and Places

Fall is creeping up on us, at least in the northern half of the planet. (Our friends on the other side of the equator are looking forward to spring flowers, lucky them.) Seasonal change doesn't stop h2g2, though: everybody's ready for excitement, adventure, and really wild things. Whether it's raking the leaves that will soon be dropping, starting school or a new course of part-time study, or just getting back into the swing of what most Researchers refer to as 'w*rk', h2g2ers are out there pitching.

And in here, telling us about it.

Wherever you go, there you are – observing, learning, meeting people, studying life, etc. And, we hope, sending in your articles and pictures. This week, PT has another cathedral to share. Willem has a creature so cute, you'll all want to book a ticket to his neighbourhood. the_jon_m has a double treat: a new Mancunian Blues and some thoughts from the world of cycling. Speaking of cycling, we've found an ad from the past that will help you cope with your tonsorial issues on your velocipede. Deke's in his kayak, Awix is in the cinema, jwf is in verse, and the people at the Cactus Café are on a maths trip. In other words, all's right with the world.
