Ekadris

You know how much I love Swami Satchidananda. I used to live in thw west village as a teenager and I went to Integral and through the years I'd buy unlimited cards for classes there and take four a day. The only time I actually heard Swami Satchidananda speak was at the Cathedral at one of the earth masses, he did the sanskrit prayer and I was the only one in the entire Cathedral that knew the prayer. At the time when I did the public access shows and all my theories were dawning on me. I was stark raving insane and my life was completely impossible. I saw Swami Satchidanandas spirit dance around me in a circle. He was alive at the time. Anyway when I was in teacher training at Integral the head teacher would pick a Sanskrit name for you. She picked Ekadris and I know Swami Satchidananda would have picked the same name. It's an odd name, it means Eka one dris is short for drishti a gaze or vision. Ekadris. Also when I was young a kid next door couldn't say Eric and called me Ek also someone at Integral calls me Ek. People think of me as Ekadris at INtegral I prefer me sanskrit name to my real name. I like people thinking of me as Ekadris. So I'm going b y that name.
