The 4400 was a television series, starring Joel Gretsch and Jacqueline McKenzie, that ran for four seasons from 2004 to 2007.
On a single day, 4400 'missing' people are suddenly returned to Earth in a ball of light, with no memory of where they've been. Despite having been 'abducted' at various times over the previous 58 years, none of them have aged a day. Over time it emerges that each returnee has come back with some sort of 'ability'.
