Science Vs Spiritual

Century's ago the priests were also the scientists of their time.Look at the Pyramids of Egypt or the Pyramids of South America and you can see the evidence for this yourselves.They were healer's,teachers,astronomer's,builder's and adviser's to the rulers of that time.
At some point there came a division and science separated from the spiritual and since that day there has been no harmony between them.One side calling the other blasphemors,liars and charletons.The Spanish Inqusition would burn books on astrology and anything that did not agree with the view of the church at the time.Certain practices in science have been now proved to have made treatment of the plague impossible such as leeching.Although leeching has some beneficial uses.
Time and time again people have reported to doctors after surgery that they were there and could hear and see what they were talking about during surgery.The doctors have comfirmed that on many occasions.Can science fully explain this? Although studies have been done in the scientific community on this subject they still cannot explain it.More and more doctors are coming across this phenomenom every day and need an explanation.
I propose a conversation between the spiritual and the scientist,a debate.
We used to be one community and we have been split in two.What has followed until now has not been very productive but very destructive.In science they are now on the verge of creating the first human clone,virtually playing God.The two sides should come back together to bring balance to spirituality but morality back to science.
I am a Scientific person with spiritual understanding as well due to personnal experience.
But this debate is sorely needed here and please keep it civil.
