What is loneliness...

2 Conversations

What is loneliness? Can we describe it? Is it a feeling that springs from the mind, the body, or the soul?

Why do we get lonely? How can we be lonely when there are people all around? Simple... they`re not the right people.

The mind.

Like seek like.
My mind was lonely for like-minds but the pain is lessened now.
I have found like-minds. We`re not the same, but that is good. We are, each of us, unique. We are different from the crowd. That is good.

I like to be different, but sometimes the price is pain. The pain of being different and apart.

The body.
It`s needs. Why does it need? It shouldn`t. Does it think?

How can a body be lonely? Is it chemical? Is it Nature?
It must be Nature. The chemical elements in a body are Nature at work so the loneliness of the body must be natural.

The Soul. The Spirit.

A spirit cries out in the night for a kindred spirit.

The loneliness screams. Desperation. Tears.

The worst sound in the world... a lonely spirit screaming out.

Scream loud enough... someone hears... eventually.

The Spirit breathes. A relieved breathing.

Finally, someone came.
