Couldn't pass without commenting. John Finnemore is a genius. Love his Souvenir Programme.
The only nitpick I would have is that I find "mid-2000s" a little ambiguous. It could mean 2005, 2050 or 2500. The last two are unlikely of course, if not impossible, but I did do a Double-Take at that.

Thank you for this - excellent to learn more about the background to the series after I have just finished listening to them all . I didn’t know that about how the aircraft company names were used
One thing to check: it is sometimes not clear when something is a quote, eg no job is too small. . . and air dot.
I kind of know what you mean about Benedict Cumberbatch participating *before he was famous*, as he wasn’t A-list at that stage, but he was not R-list as he had done lots of TV work as well as a film, so I wonder if that can be rephrased a bit. When did he get the CBE?
Excellent about all the awards - well deserved for John Finnemore

Thank you both for reading through, I've made some tweaks accordingly.
I'm not sure 'no job is too small' counts as a quote, being a well-established common saying or proverb, but 'airdot' is.
A goodish definition of a celebrity is of course someone that people have heard of, not necessarily someone that any specific individual has heard of, so I'll agree that Isle of Wight resident Benedict Cumberbatch counts as being famous when 'Cabin Pressure' started, but he wasn't internationally famous in the way that 'Sherlock' propelled him into being.

Yes, the quote from Radio 4 is 'No job is too small, but many jobs are too difficult.'
Very funny since reading this I received adverts for Talisker Whisky on Facebook. I also found John Finnemore and Roger Allam are to be in a film http://www.comedy.co.uk/film/promenade/
I'm enjoying John Finnemore's websites, too

There was a question involving Cabin Pressure on this week's Brain of Britain, albeit it was the listener's question posed at half-time.

Aha! I hadn't looked at the Radio 4 website recently, but probably subconsciously picked that up.
Funny that you've been getting Talisker adverts - somehow I've not had any, even though I had to look it up to find out whether it was a whisky or a whiskey.
Are you sure it wasn't 'Brians of Britain' you were listening to? (That being one of the games that the crew played).

Coincidentally I was watching an episode of the quiz show Impossible from 2021 yesterday, and Cabin Pressure was the answer to one of the questions ("Which Radio 4 Sitcom starred Benedict Cumberbatch and Stephanie Cole?")

I love Cabin Pressure! Especially the cockpit games.
Maybe in the final sentence of the "Take Off" section, you could pop in the link about obtaining BBC audience tickets? http://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/shows
