A Conversation for Doctor Who Fiction
Epilogue Idea
Mike Zigrosi Posted Apr 27, 2003
Well if it's a comedy we're doing I have an idea. In the epilogue I've just done the robot lost luggage attendant comes to the conclusion that he is the Doctor, what if in this silly story the fourth Doctor meets this robot but doesn't know why it thinks he's the Doctor! The robot doesn't have to be in it much, just a brief cameo perhaps?

Raspy Posted Apr 27, 2003
Yes, sounds good. I liked your Robot bit, I had completely forgotten about him.

Mike Zigrosi Posted Apr 27, 2003
Thank you, that was the feeling I was aiming for. I've done the last Epilogue now, hope you enjoy it, it's not very long though...

I think things worked out nicely.
Congratulation are in order for the both of us, in what, I think is our best story yet!

Mike Zigrosi Posted Apr 27, 2003
Indeed Martin, well done indeed!
So, when are we planning to lift off with the silly story? I mean, we probably need a title and a basic plot don't we?
Should we set it on Earth perhaps?
Epilogue Idea
Raspy Posted Apr 27, 2003
Yes, i think we probably should, present day earth? past Earth?

Mike Zigrosi Posted Apr 27, 2003
What about 1960s London? I just had this funny idea of having really stereotypical sixties people and sets. Possibly aliens could be replacing human beings with "Groovdroids"?
Epilogue Idea
Raspy Posted Apr 27, 2003
Ooh! Good idea Mike, or should I say Groovy...no...no I wont say groovy.

Raspy Posted Apr 27, 2003
Incidentally, I've just finished re reading Conspiracy, it really is brilliant, I also took the time to look over Spectre of the Past, and was amazed at how bad it was.
Epilogue Idea
Mike Zigrosi Posted Apr 27, 2003
And the title could be something like "Groove of the -insert alien name here-" or "The Robots of Groove" or "Psychedelia". Whaddyathink?
P.S. Did you get my email?
Epilogue Idea
Raspy Posted Apr 27, 2003
Aha I got it!
Incidentally Mike, I dont suppose you've ever though of getting a Hotmail account? With msn messenger you see, we could discuss things in much greater detail. just a thought.

Mike Zigrosi Posted Apr 27, 2003
I have considered it but with the delecate state my email's in at the moment I'd rather not push it at the moment.
So, when shall we start the story?
If you're going to do a trailer, how about finishing it with K9 saying,
"Everything is groovy master"?
Just a thought, feel free to tell me if you think its rubbish!

Raspy Posted Apr 27, 2003
Well its something about Mike, something to think about...
Anyway, would you do the trailer? Your better at comedy than I am? I'll start the story but i think my trailers are somewhat lacking in well...interest.
Incidentally nice work with the Valeshini Quest! I'm enjoying it emmensly, I look forward to the next part.
I'm writing a story at the moment, which I may or may not post called Children of Gallifrey. I'd be happy to send you that when I'm done.

Mike Zigrosi Posted Apr 27, 2003
Certainly Martino my old man, I'd be only to happy to read Children of Gallifrey.
Of course I'll do the trailer if you want, I enjoy writing them anyway. Shall I post the trailer tonight?
Oh, by the way, I'll send you part three tomorrow if you want

Certainly Mike, theres no time like the present, and I would love to read part three as soon as possible.
You know Grandplan is 42 pages long!
Anyway, the plot of Children of Gallifrey is as thus-
A powerful alliance of planets want to overthrow the rule of the Gallifreyans and conquer the universe. The alliance is led by The beautiful Princess Sicha, and other members include the Valeshini(though we only see the Emperor in this story), The Andromedans(who are ruled by Sicha), and the Mogarians(I've always liked them) and also my humanoid villain, and also none other than the small bat like creatures!(who I am thinking of naming 'Oks')
The Doctor is summoned to gallifrey by President Romana who asks him to find the alliance and try and make them see reason.
While the Doctor is gone, he discovers from a group of prophets(including the briefly mentioned Nastrado from the Grandplan trailer) that he is the one who has been chosen to save all of Gallifrey.
Meanwhile Romana has fallen victim to Rasputaltrons influence, he has survived by trnasferring what was left of his influence into Romana's mind, Rasputaltron supplies her with advice, which she surprisingly takes, but she doesnt realsie that what Rasputaltron is telling her is making her a bit of a megalomaniac. Rasputaltron is eventually so powerful that he is close to possesing her, and soon thanks to his manipulations, civil war begins on Gallifrey and Romana is slowly driven insane.

Sounds good, I like the final naming of Barok's people! Nostrado, I was wondering if he'd pop up in any other stories.
The project I'm working on at present is Ethan Forbes Lives! as I believe I've said before. The plot is basically thus:
A couple of years after saying goodbye to the Doctor Ethan is still living with Miss Donna in the mansion house. However, he has become interested in finding if anything of Tilasiokio still actually exists. What he doesn't know is that the pyramid, still containg some of the Mind's intelligence has locked onto him andis travelling to the planet where he lives. Basically the adventure goes along the lines of the Pyramid wanting to take over Ethan's mind and use the planet as a new base to begin recreating the Spirit Stones.
