Certainly!
Also Martin, just to clarify: "The mind" in my conclusion to Episode 2 of Grandplan is supposed to be Zigrosi inside one of the Spirit Stones

Outside the royal palace of the Romanovs, in the gardens. The Czar of Russia and his family were enjoying the sunshine. To the side of them was a dark figure, wearing a metal mask with slits for eyes and a mouth and nose. The figure wore black robes, and a long purple cloak, and leather gloves on his hands.
Unknown to the family, this mysterious figure was in fact Rasputaltron. Rasputaltron now watched the family, his true appearance underneath the mask, no one at this time had ever seen a talking skeleton before, and it was best that he didn’t scare them half to death. While the family prattled away their worthless lives, Rasputaltron had greater plans in store for them. Greater plans in store for the country in fact. Rasputaltron had befriended the family, and become the personal attaché to the Czar, the Czars youngest daughter Anastasia also seemed to have taken a liking to Rasputaltron, which fitted in perfectly with his plan.
The czar’s youngest daughter Anastasia walked up to Rasputaltron, tugging at his cloak. Rasputaltron looked down at the child, the one child he needed. The red haired girl pointed to a swing on the far side of the garden. "Oh very well," he said, he gestured to the swing and the girl ran away laughing and giggling.
As Rasputaltron prepared to follow the girl, The Czar placed a hand on his shoulder, "My friend," The Czar said warmly, "Things are well in Russia, because of you, you may well have saved the Romanov dynasty!"
Rasputaltron smiled beneath his mask, how little they knew. "Oh I wouldn’t go that far your highness, it is your wisdom which has brought the country into a new age. The war will soon be over, and your power over the people will be secured!"
The Czar smiled and patted his advisor on the back.
Rasputaltron swept across the grass, after Anastasia, who was already sitting on the swing.
Rasputaltron walked behind her and pushed the swing, contemplating his next move, the country was effectively under his control, and with the people beginning to regain their confidence in the royals, it was only a matter of time before victory could be assured, but first he had to deal with the royals, something extravagant that would dispose of the entire family, of course he could always wait for the revolution, that wasn’t too long away now. All except Anastasia, she as the key, and it was only a matter of time before everything fell into place.

The Doctor walked down the long corridors of the Romanov palace, the palace seemed strangely empty. And he couldn’t help but feel he was being watched. Any second now he imagined Rasputin to pop out of an adjoining corridor. He chuckled at the idea and stuffed his hands into his pockets, admiring the portraits on the walls.
He still found it very odd that he had arrived in Russia, and in the palace of all the places, and just before the Revolution as well.
As the Doctor turned another corner he came face to face with a tall big nosed fellow.
"Oh, do beg your pardon sir, " The Doctor said politely.
The Big nosed man leaned over the Doctor, "Can I help you?" he asked, looking at the Doctor with pure disgust.
"No no, I’m quite all right," The Doctor replied trying to push his way past the tall man.
The man blocked his away, "No one is allowed past here without permission from the Czar or his advisor!"
The Doctor eyed him dubiously, "Come come now old chap, no need for that, The Czar said I could go in, I have urgent business with…um…er" The Doctor struggled to find the right word, but all names eluded him, "Rasputin! "was all he could come out with.
The man seemed taken aback by this, he stepped out of the way, "Very well…" he said in his deep Russian accent.
The Doctor breathed a sigh of relief and moved into the next room, that man certainly had a large nose…

Very good so far Martin. I did have one idea though, if the chap with the big nose is supposed to be Rasputin then perhaps you could think of including a thought of the Doctor's along the lines of "He was sure that chap looked familiar" as a sort of injoke to the fact that Tom Baker once played Rasputin. Can I ask, what is the name of the story?

Raspy Posted Apr 8, 2003
Actually he wasnt supposed to be Rasputin. But rest assured Rasputin will be appearing, and I shall take that joke into the story with me.
Many thanks Mike!

Oh yeah, the name, I have no idea. If you have any ideas, I would be most greatful. I wrote something similar to this as my original story for season 27, but I scrapped it soon afterwards. A lost Martin penny story, well not lost, as I still have it on file.

Mike, how did you like my review of Enigma?
I take it you like the episode guide?

Mike Zigrosi Posted Apr 14, 2003
Yes, I enjoyyour reviews and your episode guides. I was thinking of doing "Roots" for each story if that's alright, it's just reading through the synopsis of Trap of the Daleks I can see plenty of influences from Star Wars and various other things. Is that okay with you?
P.S. Grandplan's getting good isn't it?

Raspy Posted Apr 14, 2003
Why thankyoyu Mike. I think Grand Plan is brilliant.
For your roots by the way, you can say that the Dalek alliance idea is based on the seperatists from star wars, and Tor Garane is based on Nute Gunray from Star Wars. And also, as some background knoledge, I have loads of Dapol figures which I used to play with when I was younger and I had this skeleton figure which I gave a cape and called rasputaltron, and i used to play with him. I also used Captain Hanik from Trap 5 in my little games by using a han solo figure!

Will do Martin (I'm making notes!)
I'm trying to think of things to put in for roots for some of my creations. I've got a couple for Chekawowe: Ethan Forbes was partially inspired by Adam Ademant Lives! and the Scarlet Pimpernel stories.

The names of Rasputaltron and Barok were based on Rasputin and Bartok from the Anastasia movie, as was Baroks bat like stuff.

Yes, I have to admit, when I first read the name Rasputaltron, Rasputin did come to mind

I might as well tell you that Ethan got his name because shortly before I'd written a short story for school with a similiar character called Ethan Adventure, but I thought Adventure might be abit to tacky when I came to write him into Chekawowe so I changed his surname to Forbes

The Rasputaltron hologram/image thingy in Chekawowe was based on Darth Sidious from Star Wars.
