Sport Utility Vehicle

A Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) is an oversized 4-wheeled powered vehicle. Apparently, its purpose is to make you feel taller and better than anyone else on the road. Owning one means that you can ignore people, play loud music, eat, drink, talk on the telephone and watch videotapes as you purportedly "drive" your vehicle.
Many of these vehicles have something called 4-wheel-drive, where the drive power goes to all 4 wheels. This was originally intended for riding on surfaces other than asphalt, but apparently many people consider it a requirement for driving on asphalt now.
