John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band
Created | Updated Apr 1, 2002
It contains 11 tracks of fairly simple music dispersed with the odd heavy song, by this time in his life John Lennon wanted to get back to a simples truer way of recording and dispenced with the amount of over dubs used on the Beatle songs. The lyrics come across as more poetry than anything else, The album seems to be John's message to the world "The dream is over". The way he wrote songs was no more, a more firce way of writing took over, using swear words and saying exactly what he wanted and how he wanted.
Songs include the singles "Mother" and "Love", and one of his most famous "Working Class Hero", and "I Found Out" used on the closing credits for The South Bank Show on Douglas Adams.
