Fed up with your Vodka and Coke, White wine spritzer or, dare it be said, Gin and Tonic? Looking for something new, exciting and relatively easy to make? Look no further...
The Dawa Cocktail
Sleek, Sexy and with an exotic kick, the Dawa hails from Africa. In Swahili the word Dawa means "medicine" or "magic potion".
Ingredients
1 shotmeasure of Vodka
1/2 a Lime
Brown Sugar
Smooth Honey
Ice.
Serving Stick/Spoon
How to make...
1. Start off by pouring a measure of Vodka into a glass. The Dawa is traditionally served in a rocks glass but if you don't have one of these to hand then I've found a wine glass works just as well.
2. Now add the juice of 1/2 a lime to the mix
3. Drop in 1 teaspoon of Brown Sugar and 1 tablespoon of Honey
4. Mix the ingredients using stick or spoon and then add the vital ingredient - Ice!
