Who on Earth gave Mr Adams the idea that Earth is even remotely harmless. First there is all the nautral disaters that ravage our planet. Earthquakes, volcanos, tornados, dust bowls, tsunammis, landslides or something like this can clearly destroy all humanitys hopes for the future. Then there are all these weapons of mass destruction that men like Saddam Hussain are churning out. Nukes, smallpox, chlorine, ebola, neutron bombs and the amounts to wipe out every human on Earth 40 times over. Although there is a limited amount of space in the book perhaps "increadbly dangerous" would have surficed
