Latest news from 360 -
Changing the World by Degrees.
This week 360 launches its 'Good News Reporters'. This is your chance to report on anything and everything positive that is going on in your street, your town, your country, your world! Good News items can be as varied as the announcement that the ozone layer will be whole again by the year 2050 - or that you raised £25 for charity with a sponsored dog walk. We want to hear all the good news there is!
Why? Because there is so much bad news in the world that it could do with
some balance. Lots of good things happen - but they often don't get the
recognition that they deserve. We need the chance to realise that we aren't
doing all that badly - and to celebrate every single good thing that happens
on this planet.
You can be a 360 Good News Reporter simply by posting something you saw or
heard on the news last night. Or maybe it's something you've done yourself,
or a neighbour or a friend. Whatever your source of Good News just start a
new discussion below - and the 360 Editors will turn your postings into the
360 Good News Paper every week.
If you are a 360 Good News Reporter, feel free to say so on your personal
space.
Other news on 360 are Barry Jones's amazing mission to fly an autogyro helicopter around the world. The Aeroplane, the Helicopter, the
Microlight and the Balloon, have all circumnavigated the earth. In 2003 a
British Army Warrant Officer, Barry Jones, will attempt to commemorate the
100th Anniversary of the Wright Brothers by becoming the first person to fly
round the world in an Autogyro - the only aircraft yet to complete the
challenge. Barry's autogyro forms part of the 360 logo and he will be
reporting for the site on his preparations for the trip - and on the amazing
flight itself.

environment magazine WAVE has joined us. Read her expose on Factory Farming (and RSPCA Freedom Foods), and her account of Lessons in Love
