To celebrate the recent1 50th anniversary of the UK singles chart, Dr E Vibenstein is reasonably proud to bring you the Top 40 Lottery!

How to play

It works just like any other lottery. All you have to do is pick six numbers between 1 and 40 - although, this being h2g2, you may also pick 42 as one of your numbers. smiley - smiley Post your selection in the box below.2 The "draw" takes place with the announcement of the new UK Top 40 the following Sunday.3 If your numbers correspond with the positions of that week's new entries4, you're a winner!

You can listen to the top 40 countdown on BBC Radio 1 or check the entire top 75 on Launch5.
