Twitter, twitter, birds in trees, on
Wires and rooftops, info please, con
Everybody into reading, watching, knowing, hearing,
Even on the mountains, in the deserts - we are nearing
Total information overload. It's all a toss-up,
Live or talk about it. We can stand just so much gossip.

Today I heard the birdies sing:
Whatever did they say?
Each sound did have a certain ring
Each seemed to mean: come play.
Their dialects vary greatly here:
Some chirp, some cheep: all joy to hear.

TWEETS
Telephones are the bane of my life,
Witless calls and endless strife,
Everyone speaks, but insincere,
Endless talk – but no-one hears,
Talking rubbish – all inane,
Sometimes I think that I'm insane.
