GTAIII

GTAIII, aka Grand Theft Auto 3 is probably known to every major video game player in the US. I know, the moment I got my hands on it, my life sertainly brightened up. Somebody finally came up with a perfect mix between a racer and a 3D shooter. Personally, I certainly enjoyed riding down the streets of a digital city, racking up corpses. Although the cars don't last forever, (at some point all the damage from the accidents adds up, and causes the vehicle to catch on fire), once you're on foot you have an arsenal of weapons to choose from to continue on your quest. The creators, added a storyline as well, not that you need one, it adds some insight, on how can a really disfunctional western city be held together. Of course the game wouldn't be complete without boating, flying an airplane, and being able to cause a mayhem in a tank.
By the way, a word of warning to the parents, although it contains no offensive language, unless you want your kids to squash 100 pedestrians/hour, play this game yourself.
