Dr. Zen could you just post a direct link to where I should do this?

It's really appreciated - but there's no way we are at the stage where we can be taking donations yet.

We don't know what costs we have to cover, we've no provisions made about finances or accounts - so I know you really do mean well, but for now, hold on to your money.

Most importantly, we don't know whether or not we'll need to do so. With any luck the BBC will find someone to adopt this place.

Anything that's going to happen is weeks away at soonest, but probably months away realistically.

If you still want to donate leave £10,000 in a brown envelope behind the bin next to third bench from the park's south gate. Used notes for preference. smiley - winkeye

Funny I don't quite know how to take that remark. Yes I still want to donate. But whether its for me as a new thing I'm not sure.

Do not fear, we will let people know as soon as we know how much money we need, what it's actually for, and that we have a structure that can take money in an audiable and accountable manner.

We're really grateful for all offers of support, and want everyone involved...

Me too. I want to donate. But at the moment there's nothng to donate TO.

We don't know what Nick, Jim and the BBC are hoping for and planning to achieve, and the Community Consortium's very much hoping that we DON'T have to pony up time, money or server space. That said, all three have been offered in abundance.

Until we know if we even need the Community Consortium to exist in any legal form, there's noone and nowhere to pay the money to.

Let's hope there never will be, but in a good way!

Ben
