Of all the robotic types described in Science Fiction I love Marvin the best. In the Hitchhiker books he keeps our feet on the ground, reminding us that all these flights of fantasy are temporary and any minute we to will be experience a pain down all the diodes. I enjoy all the other characters too and my next favorite would be Trillion. She is a take no prisoners woman and Ford is probably lucky she dumped him for Zaphod.
