A Conversation for The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy Character Poll

Marvin is so refreshingly docile and depressing. He is in stark contrast to the other characters and events, most of which actually do things to advance the story in a meaningfull way, and/or contribute something helpful to the Universe. Though Marvin, as he frequently points out, has a brain the size of a planet he uses his immense intellect only for the purpose of "bumming out" the universe which may or may not be good for the characters in the book and/or the universe as a whole. (This may seem a bad thing, but it helps to give a delightful offset to the immense amount of sex going on by the non-existence people in the universe, most of which is being payed for by their three non-existence currencies.)
