Queen Mary College Old Boys Football Club

0 Conversations

QMCOBFC is the old boys football club for Queen Mary College, University of London. Based in Walthamstow, London, it fields three teams in the London Old Boys League. The club aims to provide football for graduates of Queen Mary College, but is open to all and has several non-Queen Mary members.

The club was founded in 1991 by a bunch of new graduates who wanted to carry on playing football together even though a night in the student bar afterwards was no longer a possibility. Amongst the club's founding fathers were Rob Gardner, Richard Fulham and Phil Butler (the latter two were still to be found plying their trade for the club's Second team in 2002).
