Actually I've still got 6th year to get through, but am just gonna chill during it, but then I think I'm away to uni to study something to do with art and then go into teacher training...think I want to be an art teacher, or something to do with art or maybe primary teaching...means I've got a fall back anyway you look at it.

I dunno about teaching art for primary, more highschool if I go down that path because we've got such a crap art department I want to give other people a better start than I had.

we cud of done with a better art department my teacher was determined 2 get me 2 do wot SHE wanted me 2 do!!!!

We've got a diabolical art department, it's no wonder I've started doubting whether I'd cope at art school with the mob we've got up there

ours was pretty bad 2.i dont think u get many skools with gud art departments!
but computers are a different matter

Yes, the computing department is good, even if the best teacher's now left for a year

i think that shows the world moving on cos most skools concentrate on a gr8 IT department

Yeah, it's a shame High Schoolsaren't better equipped for each subject, by concentrating on computing it's meaning that other subjects are getting left behind and students wanting to do art and english etc are getting a bad footing for university.

the goverment has alot 2 do with it
our skool need renovation and stuff but they spent bout 12,000 on computerised whiteboards
but i asked a teacher y they had spent it on that and that they wudnt have been given the money if they hadnt of spent it on the whiteboards!!!!

It's ridiculous, if they expect to get the exam grades up they have to give us a fighting chance...Scottish results are down now in English, Art and Math and it's because they're spending too much money on computers and not giving us the equipment to even try new things.

For example we have the frame for a screen printer in our art department, which we can't use because the art department cant afford to buy the other part, god they can't even afford to buy new coloured ink cartridges for the printer!

skools just arent given enough money!!!!
media studies in skool is rubbish cos my skool had no video cameras or anything.we just did writing!!!!!

We don't even get Media Studies up here, which means if you want to do that at uni you're screwed
