I&#39;ll try and set aside some time to have a look at this project over the next few days.

On first glance, I think there are far too many links to entries about the Isle of Wight on these entries. They should only link to the relevant ones - if the path goes past the aircraft museum, by all means link to the entries on aircraft, but don&#39;t link to them on every entry.

Each entry should have the shield of the relevant faculty of the university at the top.

You can look at A595497 to see how this is done.

The link list at the top uses "anchors" - that is, it points to places in the middle of the entries - this type of link is not approved GuideML, as it uses the A tag rather than the LINK tag. The only sort of links approved are to the starts of the entries. There are a few Edited Entries in the Guide which use this feature, but they date from before GuideML was invented, and have never been changed.

There are a few extended characters in the entries - these don't display correctly on some browsers (such as Firefox in Unicode mode), so they should be changed to & codes:

e with acute accent --> &eacute; (Stage 4)
dash --> &ndash; (Footnote 2 of Part 1, Footnote 2 of Part 3)

Several walks feature including the Isle of Wight Coastal Path, either in stages of various lengths or as an amazing non-stop 72 miles in 24 hours. -- this doesn&#39;t appear to make much sense. I think what you meant to say was:

etc. just before footnote 2 -- remove the full stop.

there&#39;s an inconsistency there. Should it be the Western Wight?

The easternmost is the village of Bembridge -- you haven&#39;t said what you are talking about here. This should be:

and westernmost are the Needles -- the word "are" is wrong here, as you are talking about the westernmost point, which is singular. Perhaps you could say "and westernmost is at the Needles".

Cowes, being the middle of the Island&#39;s north shore is a good starting point --> add a comma after shore

The References section should be after the /BODY. It doesn&#39;t make much difference in Brunel, but it only displays correctly in Barlesque if the References section is correctly positioned.

You have t-junction in one place and T junction in another. Be consistent.

has hosted the revised The Isle Of Wight Festival -- remove the second "The".

cafes -- since you've gone to the trouble of putting an accent on cafe earlier, you should put one on this too

To ascend through Shanklin Chine, following the river up to the 45-foot waterfall, provides the shortest and most picturesque route -- remove the comma after waterfall

though a fare has been charged for this privilege since 1817 -- I'm not sure if "fare" is the right word for an admission charge like this. "charge" would be better.

and the lighthouse was sadly automated in 1997 -- I don't think the "sadly" is entirely appropriate here.

The Credits section has LINK="BIO". This should be LINK="DNAID".

As if this were not sufficient -- sufficient isn't really the right word here, because being sufficient is a good thing. You should say "As if this were not bad enough".

furthermost -- is this a word? I'd say "furthest".

and at the very dead end of the road -- this doesn't sound right to me. I'd say "very end".

Aethelred -- replace the (extended) first character with &AElig;

It might be worth putting a link to Osborne House on the phrase "Osborne-towered".

following the coast until you see the your luck, and the River Luck8, run out. -- there's something wrong here. I don't know what you intended to say.

to the Esplanade. This Esplanade, known as Prince's Esplanade -- try and reword this so there isn't this repetition.

Yes, sorry we accepted this in haste. However we have only accepted the project page, the rest of the Entries should still be with Tufty.

Just as long as the Project Page doesn't hit the front page - it isn't an interesting read...

Sorry for not working on this but I had a pretty heavy workload last week. I'd got as far as changing the link bars and making corrections to part 1, but otherwise I've a few things still to do so please don't put it on the Front Page yet!
