Naval Architecture
Created | Updated May 23, 2003
Not belly-button peirceing as one might imagine but the design of ships, boats and other wet objects. Naval Architects are engineers who tend to get excited about things like hydrostatics, GZ curves, buttocks, seakeeping and free-surface effects.
Two profesional societys for Naval Architects are The Royal Institution of Naval Architects and
The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers.
