Betterware catalogue

4 Conversations

On a Sunday no mail should arrive, but through the miracles of direct marketing you hear the thud of something being delivered anyway. It is the Betterware catalogue.

Once you buy a house or have lived in an apartment for a certain time you will have bought all the things that you need on a daily basis. All the appliances and gadgets that are considered necessary in our busy lives; fridges, washing machines, tv sets, stereos, furniture, curtains. And once all of this has been assembled there is really no reason to buy anything else.

To rescue you from this unhappy shopping-free scenario those nice fellows at Betterware have provided an entire catalogue full of little gadgets that everybody could benefit from, but by no stretch of the imagination needs.

Let's face it, how many times have you broken a nail on a soda can? Zero? Me too, but it may happen one day, and to avoid the unpleasant sensation ever happening you can use their specially designed lever instead.

Everything in their book has an added benefit just to tip the balance if you can't decide why you need something. For example if you don't think you need the security of a personal document shredder, then maybe you should think of your hamster, who 'may be able to use the shreds as bedding'.

So if you've earned a fortune playing soccer for England, married a pop star and just can't think how much better life could be, you need to flick through this catalogue and realise that every day, in every way, you could buy a little something to make it that little bit better.

Betterware http://www.betterware.co.uk/ is a United Kingdom company founded in 1928 by Clark and Willis. A pair of enterprising young men from the East End of London.
