Okay...elixir of life...
the Corcus Solis:
You dissolve some gold in nitro-hydrolic acid
Distil the colution with water
Precipitate in solution of Potass (Potash)
Then wash the poweder left and dry it.
Maybe is't a good time to point out that gold is poisonous...but it is the purest of metals...people thought it was good for the body because of this...

While silver is associated with the moon. It was used to heal mental problems...It's something to do with the whole *luna*tics thing.
