Hi guys, smiley - smiley

Nice entry, certainly looks to me like a gimme for the EG. smiley - ok

I think i'm in about the right age bracket (well, maybe a bit below, but not *that* much) and I know quite a bit of music from the late 70s, anyhow, but...

I've never heard of this! smiley - sadface

I followed the link to the site (it was lying about being worth the wait, imo smiley - smiley) but couldn't find the song in question, just some new stuff.

Any chance of a link to Lucky Stars in the entry?

or just a link in this thread, for li'l ol' me? smiley - biggrin

If I link to an mp3 of the song it'll be moderated on the basis of condoning an illegal action (downloading copyright material). I'm not sure about a link to a website with the lyrics. The link itself might not be against the House Rules, but the lawyers are constantly going after these websites, and ::POOF:: they're gone... which would fail the page because of a broken link.

Was there something else you had in mind Spiff?

Zarquon's Singing Fish!

Don't think I know the song, Gosho. Seems a competent entry.

Smij - Formerly Jimster

In the UK, the late, lamented TV show The Big Breakfast used to be presented by Gaby Roslin, a self-proclaimed Dean Friedman fanatic. One month, they had a series of surprise guests for Gaby leading up to her birthday. The first one was someone like a session musician from the recording of the single. Then they had Denise Marsa, and Gaby was overjoyed to hear from her just how lovely a guy Dean is.

But on the day of her birthday, they brought in Dean himself. Gaby sobbed with happiness and they then sang a duet of the song. So sweet and gushy, y'couldn't help but be carried away by her enthusiasm for the song.

Cracking entry this, matey. Well done!

Jims

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.

Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
