Oh yes!
one~X~ace~WayneCraigFredericks Posted Dec 11, 1999
Cry if you wish but the red frock rocks.
Do you dance? much?
Oh yes!
country girl Posted Dec 11, 1999
[smiles]
I like to dance. I like to dance best with a partner.
And unless you've just got married, I don't feel the need to cry just at the moment.
Perhaps I'm just allergic to all those flowers.....
Oh yes!
Toker Posted Dec 11, 1999
To me, the loveliest country girl is Lucinda Williams and a tired red dress would suit her very well. And I am sure yours is very fetching too.
On that smile;-)
country girl Posted Dec 11, 1999
[wide-eyed, she takes Wayne's hand, and lets him lead her to the floor]
What sort of dancing are we going to do? I like all sorts, so I'll just let you lead.
Toker - you like my dress? It's seen better days, I grant you, but this simple gypsy style is so nice to wear.....just as it is, with maybe a flower in my hair.
On that smile;-)
Toker Posted Dec 11, 1999
God, I am so jealous. Perhaps I need a longer name. Besides, I am crap at dancing. I suppose old big name can do it really well.
Flowers look especially lovely in long black hair.
On that smile;-)
country girl Posted Dec 11, 1999
Thankyou! Though it's more a dark chestnut brown. If you don't dance, what else do you enjoy?
Why jealous?
On that smile;-)
one~X~ace~WayneCraigFredericks Posted Dec 11, 1999
Well if it's my choice~
we'll start with a slow one.
On that smile;-)
one~X~ace~WayneCraigFredericks Posted Dec 11, 1999
Hey you guys talk-
I'll be back later, with punch.
(the long walk)
On that smile;-)
country girl Posted Dec 11, 1999
[whispers to Wayne] I think we could do with some music.....
On that smile;-)
Toker Posted Dec 11, 1999
I am surprised that you are allowed in. We are in an age of conservation and recycling but between you, you have used up just over two alphabets worth of letters; just in your names! Mine is little, but perfectly formed and not too heavy to carry around.
PS Wonderful hair colour. My favourite.
On that smile;-)
one~X~ace~WayneCraigFredericks Posted Dec 11, 1999
(Sadly, Wayne, ears still ringing a bit from the clubs the night before, doesn't hear the whisper. He walks off alone, never makes it to the punch, meeting up instead with Lynn and tragedy.)
On that smile;-)
country girl Posted Dec 11, 1999
Toker ~ thanks. It's my favourite too [forget the peroxide and all that]. I just wish I had a voice to rival Shania Twain. Did someone mention a drink?
Who's Lynn? Tragedy ~ I thought that was The Bee Gees...
On that smile;-)
Toker Posted Dec 11, 1999
Don't know about you JACGIATRF, but your friend seems to be in deep shit. I think you are right about the Bee Gees.
Only whisky here, sorry
On that smile;-)
country girl Posted Dec 11, 1999
I could do with a 'wee dram' if you wouldn't mind.
What have I missed? You can tell me ~ I'm very discreet... [leans towards the short but sweet Toker to hear the gossip]
On that smile;-)
Toker Posted Dec 11, 1999
Not so much of the short if you don't mind. Sweet, possibly. But not short.
Famous Grouse winging its way to you. American Dry or a drop of water? Ice? Careful with it; no small measures (or people) here
Beginning to think I was dreaming. But did not Wayne himself refer to tragedy?
On that smile;-)
country girl Posted Dec 12, 1999
After telling me the virtues of your name, how can you claim not to be short? Would you prefer 'concise'?
I looked at his page, and got side-tracked by a long and fascinating forum. No sign of 'tragedy' that I noticed. Guys are so complex...
Ginger ale and ice please.
On that smile;-)
Toker Posted Dec 12, 1999
Point taken. I can quite understand that you would not see me as a gorgeous hunk of manhood, engagingly in touch with his feminine side. But then why should you; no-one else does.
If you think guys are complicated, you should try quantum physics. Now, that is what I call complex.
We could have another whisky and try to find the answer to Life the Universe and Everything, but I seem to remember that it has already been solved; albeit rather unsatisfactorily. Perhaps we should instead discuss the relative merits of the alternative flowers with which to adorn your hair.
On that smile;-)
country girl Posted Dec 13, 1999
Large blooms......something Hawaiian maybe? Reds and pinks would be my favourites.
How does a large hunk of manhood get in touch with his feminine side? That sounds way more complex than quantum physics to me [a quantum leap in fact, you could say].
But another drink and some more of life's philosophies would be good.
