- LaserQuest rematch. Downside; we did it last time. Upside; we all get to gang up on LiS this time Yell gives one place in Edinburgh - Close to Harmarket Stn, about a mile from Waverley Stn.
- Paintball. Sounds like fun, but might take us out of the city for a large chunk of the day... There are two places in the city, but they don't say where the actual arena is, or how you get there. See here for example. Quite pricey.
- Frisbee, rounders or something, in the fresh air, maybe up at the meadows?
- Bowling - although given what happened the last time we tried this *... nearest place is the Megabowl near Haymarket Stn. And it does have these groovy urinals...*
- Edinburgh Ghost Walk - meant to be quite good. May require some Dutch courage. Most of these seem to start round about 8 - 10 in the evening, but Mercat Tours do a Hidden Underground Vaults tour from 11 to 4 (every hour) lasting 75 minutes. No information on prices. Would need to be booked in advance.
- Art of StarWars Exhibition - on at the City Art Centre in Edinburgh. This was pretty good when I saw it in London. Would take up an hour or so. Adults £6.00, concessions £4.50, family ticket £16.00. Right next door to Waverley Stn. Hopefully the link will be working now...
- Dynamic Earth - see here. Group cost (12+ people): Adult £6.45, Student/UB40 £4.50. About 1/2 mile from Waverley Stn. Time, about 90 mins (their estimate, depends how much people want to do).
- Tour bus - just bimble around Edinburgh for a while and see all the old stoney bits. Kandyman's article has a couple of links. Lothian Bus tours - adult fare (all day) £7.50, although there are group offers for groups of six or more. Guide Friday adult fare £8.50, but again they have group discounts. Looks like all the tours leave from Waverley bridge.
- Edinburgh Dungeons - again, would probably have to pre-book.
