I have added a couple of paragraphs on medicinal uses, flavouring and allergy. (I can't stand the taste of raw celery either, but when it is cooked, I quite like it...)

I have also corrected the points highlighted by Gnomon (I didn't know "grammes" was old fashioned... smiley - flusteredsmiley - senior)

It is ready for further comments. smiley - ok

I'm sure there's plenty more scope for links but one that is particularly conspicuous by its absence is A337907 - 'Aphrodisiacs or other things to get you in the mood'

You can call me TC

You mention that it is a diuretic and an aphrodisiac. Please mention also its laxative properties.

It's the only thing that works for me! It obviously has a very high fibre content.

Also with regards to storing it. Once bought, it keeps, ready to eat, for ages in the fridge if you cut it into individual sticks, scrub off any surplus dirt, roll it in a damp teatowel and keep it in the bottom of the fridge in the salad drawer.

You can wrap it in tinfoil and keep it in the fridge.

Guinea pigs love it.

Thanks everyone.

I have added more links, included mention of laxative as well as diuretic and expanded the section on storage.

I put some information about the Potassium content back in as a footnote, as I found out that Celery is relatively rich in this mineral compared to other vegetables.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.

Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
