Bob Weir and Ratdog

2 Conversations

Bob Weir, former member of the Grateful Dead, didn't stop playing when the band broke up, after Jerry Garcia's death. ( :( ) He now has his own band, Ratdog. Their first album came out in 2000. It's called Evening Moods. On it is a wide variety of musical styles, from sweet Welcome to the World, to the more rock songs Odessa and Corrina, to the unusual Even So. In concert, they mix their originals with Grateful Dead songs, which the fans still love.

Their new CD, Live at the Roseland, has not yet been tested by this researcher, but it is undoubtedly good.
