Melissa Etheridge is a rock musician. Her fans often refer to her as "the goddess". Her albums to date are Melissa Etheridge, Brave and Crazy, Never Enough, Yes I am, Your Little Secret, Breakdown, and Skin. She is a very intense singer. Her songs mainly deal with emotions, relationships, and love. She also wrote a very moving song about the death of Mathew Sheppard, a young gay man who was beaten because of what he was.
