The Prisoner was Patrick M's most well remebered series. In it he played a secret agent who resigned from a possition of the highest possible secrecy was followed home by a hearse, drugged, and woken to find himself in a strang village somewhere that there is the possibility of rain every afternoon and the ice cream flavor of the day is anounced on the tannoy each and every morning before the daily programme of NON-STOP classical music begins.
Filmed in Portmeirion in North Wales. The Prisoner was 17 episodes long with Number 6 (P M) allways trying to escape the village though he only succeds in the final episode FALL OUT in which the village is destroyed, number 6 meets NUMBER 1 and Alexs Kanner helps with the mayhem by singing 'DEM BONES'
Overall the series was well produced with the location of the filming kept well hidden, (though if you look hard enough there are enough clues, including in the episode DO NOT FORSAKE ME OH MY DARLING where the person (NOT P M) playing number 6 writes down in an address the name of the village Portmeirion.
In modern terms The Prisoner is still relevant though Number 6 was NOT the first man on the moon as he wanted in THE CHIMES OF BIG BEN.

please respond NUMBER 6's fan :) ;) :( (which best suits is up to you!)
