Much has been said on the subject of coffee, much of it funny... Denis Leary's rant on the subject of "coffee flavored coffee" is particularly funny... I have a favorite bit that I read in a science fiction novel once... I will relate it here: Coffee comes in five classes, these are in order of best to worst: Coffee, Java, Joe, Jamoke, and Paint Thinner. Starbucks claims to serve Coffee, but I have gotten anywhere between that class and Joe in their stores. Starbucks in airports rarely rise to the Java class. But it is only in the "coffee shops" here in New York that you find the lowest class... Paint Thinner. You can tell the places that serve it, They always have those glass pots that look brown before brewing. And they always use small cups, to avoid a critical mass... Avoid these at all costs. Repeated ingestion of Paint Thinner can cause shaking hands, loss of sleep (or in some cases inability to wake up), and a buzzing in the head that is totally unlike being drunk. I would credit the author who came up with the classes if I remembered his name... Danny
