I'm really enjoying this series, like Reefgirl said Vala is great. I wonder if she will still be on every now and again though after she does go, it would be good if she was.

The only reason Vala is in the first 5 episodes is that at the time of filming Amanda Tapping (Sam Carter) was heavily pregnant

good stargate last night. the Ori are looking to be really good baddies. nothing like a ruthlessly fanatic bunch of nutbars to liven things up.
the bite backs between the new guy (from Farscape cant remember his name) and vela were particually funny i thought.

thats what i like most about stargate. it has a good leval of humor about it. progams like star trek take themselves to seriosly. thats why i liked Babylon 5. it had a serious story but they found time to include some jokes. (some could say that crusade was one long joke )

I loved B5 in fact I have them all on DVD, they could make you laugh and cry in the same episode, I think seasons 3 and 4 were my favourites. Never liked Crusade

yeah the shadow war was great. one of my faves though was the one where lenir built garibaldis motorbike (apolgies for spelling) i thoght that was great. i should buy the DVD's i have not seen it since it was on TV. i did try crusade but it i could not get into it. and i read a review of a rangers series but they just said it was awfull. did you see Firefly? that was really good.
on another note just to make you jelous reef. i got a ride in an SLR this morning. very very fast.

NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved Ivanova she had some of the best one liners in the show, there was an episode in series 2 where she had to seal a diplomatic deal by having a 'Bit of the Other ' with the diplomat, it was hysterical

yeah i remember that one.
right there going on my christmas list. and i can bore my girlfrind with 5 years worth of amazing well written sci-fi. (with a few dodgey epsodes. it seemed after a really good load of epsodes you got a relly dodgey one. the one where michal york came back as king arther springs to mind.)
does any one know when the next series of battlestar galactica is going to air over here? its already half wey though in the US.
