Living Through High School

The first thing to remeber is not to overload. That means that if someone who you trust and is an upperclassman says that a class is really, really hard, either don't take it or buy their work off of them. And even if they say that it is very easy, still buy their work off of them.
Second, one should always have a place where they can spend extended amounts of time. Perferably this should be someplace really cool, but something that you can say you are completely obessed about. These places include the 'band room', the 'theater', the 'yearbook office', the 'student council room', etc, etc, etc. This obessiveness is a good thing for many reasons.
The number one reason to be obessive is because it gets you are reputation. People 1) start to ask for favors, and 2) teachers talk to you and give you lots of spiffy bonuses.
If you decide to take difficult classes then it's absolutely necessary to take at least one class that you really want to take. Otherwise, you will die. An example of this is taking this schedual : Physics AC, AC Math, AC Spanish, AC English, AC History, and Art. Obviously art is the easy one. Make sure that you go to art. It's ok to skip the AC classes, but not the easy one.
To makes sure that you don't die because of failing, your best bet is to go to class. It doesn't particularly matter if you do well on the tests or homework if you show up to class. Especially in all social studies and english classes, its a good thing to come and talk. Get on the teachers good side, but don't suck up.
Abuse your ability to change classes! If you don't like a teacher or you got a hard one, make sure that you switch out as soon as possible.
A final thing to remeber is to make sure that you NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER go more than 3 weeks without seeing sunlight or seminormal people. Even if these people end up burning something, it is a considerable improvement over spending too much time in the school.
Another important thing to remeber is to always, always, always have fun!!!
