National planning for Nuclear Emergencies
Created | Updated Mar 9, 2002
For reasons that escape me, a leaflet was delivered to me today: "National planning for Nuclear Emergencies". The leaflet deals with * how we should react should Sellafield explode.
Stay indoors - outside is scary and bad
2. RestrictionsDon't eat anything - it could be contaminated. More contaminated than an Abrakebabra meal...
3. Agrcultural measuresIf you are still naive enough to actually grow agricultural produce rather than just reaping EU grants then make sure the plant/animal is protected from the radiation.
4. Stable iodineFor no readily discernable reason we have loads of stable iodine to give away, so each household is going to get some...*. Enjoy!
5. EvacuatrionThere is no reason to evacuate. Bye!
