h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

A few hundred miles to the north lies a seemingly non-descript flat peice of desert. On this lands two Apachies and a Chinook. Out of the Chinook rolls a bulldozer and 20 troops whom immediatly begin to smooth a mile long stretch of ground for a runway. The two Apachies lift off again and proceed to scout the area and drop sensor pods in around the base. A convoy pulls up with a cloud of dust trailing it into the far distance. The hummers park in a circle around the perimeter of the base as the recon bikes dart in and out of the lines and all around the begininings of the base. The soldiers in the trucks begin unloading the equipment and supplies that were hauled there with them. A few tents are erected as temporary structures. Next to one Yo's flag is raised.
