I would very much like to a part of the United Friends. This is a wonderful idea!

I am a firm believer in the 100th Monkey theory, even though I have learned about it just this minute. It's all a part (I think) of the fundamental interconnectedness of everything. As human beings, we have a duty to influence events in a way that promotes peace and joy in as broad a sphere as we possibly can.

As Julia Butterfly Hill says,

"Our ability to change the world lies in our hands, minds, hearts, bodies, and spirits - committed in action. It's not only that we CAN make a difference, it's that we DO make the difference. The kind of change we make is up to us."

...did you know today is the start of 100th week of United Friends?

No, I didn't. By chance, we happened to be online at the same time and your name (actually the 'friendship' and 'peace' part) caught my eye. It's encouraging to see so many Researchers following your lead. There are a lot of good hearts in the h2g2 community.

....I have been to Dutch hootoo meet about 2 yrs ago and every one was like on hootoo as in RL.

I must make an effort and attend one of those. As far as I know, the Pennsylvania meet was the closest to my physical location. Of course, travelling to London for a meet would be ideal.
