I use Alab*ster at school because it looks more *business* like and Goo at home because I find it easier on my eyes and it simply looks better, in my opinion...
If you put the following (substituting 987654 for your U number) into your personal space, then you can quickly and easily change, depending upon preference...

I take it seriously too, pheloxi. I don't shout at people if they give me links in the "wrong" skin; Jim's even written a script you can put in your personal toolbar folder which changes the skin and reloads the page. I like both skins!
What I don't take seriously, though, is politics
