You know what's worse? the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy came on TV, and I only got to see the first episode because I was going to Florida the very next day!
Thankfully, I know own the entire series on DVD!

Here are some of my favorite movie scores:
Restoration - original score by James Newton Howard, with wonderful music by Henry Purcell. (I keep this CD in my alarm clock, it's great to wake up to)
The Piano - by Michael Nyman
The Untouchables - by Ennio Morricone
A Beautiful Mind - by James Horner
Yellow Submarine - the Beatles, of course

Decided to give this thread some life. Am watching "The Lost Boys" at this very minute. What a classic!! Soundtrack isn`t bad either. KIefer Sutherland is the only guy who ever suited a mullet
Other great forgotten classics:_
Catholic Boys
Class
Wargames
Say Anything
Youngblood
About Last Night
St. Elmo`s Fire
The Breakfast Club
And many more teen angst films from that era
