So short a time! Alas, alas
500 years go by in a flash
So little time, so much to do
Bein' a Vogon poet's hard to do.
So many papers in triplicate to be signed
And signed again, then countersigned
So little time, so much to do
Sometime's it's very hard to do
Add orders from Earth's Editroid
Another poem to launch into the Void
So little time, so much to do
Sometimes it's very hard to do
Another poem for The Post
Before I can have my tea and toast
So little time, so much to do
Bein' a Vogon's hard to do
And as for the rest, well life is hard
Writing masterpieces by the yard -
So little time, so very much to do

So I'll stop before I disappoint.
