The Total Perspective Vortex

The Total Perspective Vortex is a device to see the Entire infinity of creation, and yourself in relation to it.
It was invented by Trin Tragula in order to annoy his wife. Trin Tragula was a dreamer; a speculative thinker, or, as his wife would have it, an idiot. "have some sense of proportion" she would say, and so Trin Tragula built the vortex to show her.
The basic principle is that as every peice of matter in the universe is somehow affected by every other peice of matter in the universe, the entire infinity of the universe can be extrapolated from 1 small peice of fairy cake.
So in one end trin tragula plugged in the infinity of creation as extrapolated from a peice of fairy cake, and the end he plugged his wife. To his horror, the shock annihalated her brain, but trin tragula had proved once and for all that if life is to exist in an infinte universe, the one thing it cannot afford to have is a sense of proportion.
