Hi missy15 smiley - smiley
I don't have time to give this the full attention it deserves but please could you link to A467912 and A930223 and A57226250 (which is a serious condition during pregnancy but you don't mention).

Chickenpox = A3022525

I also think there's room for something about the pregnancy not ending in a live birth, eg miscarriage A533161 or stillbirth A472709 or even ectopic pregnancy A52005773

<<'feotal alcohol syndrome'>> should be Foetal Alcohol Syndrome (note the spelling) and please do link to A2788563

<> never start a sentence with "And", continue it from the previous sentence (if it makes sense)

may *induce* you

whats = what's

You've not mentioned Rubella (German measles) which is incredibly serious if contracted whilst pregnant http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/physical_health/conditions/rubella2.shtml
I can provide more info if needed, but for now mustsmiley - run

Hi Missy15,

I know it's difficult but you will need to be careful how you gather and write up your information. Your chickenpox section reads a little too much like: http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/physical_health/pregnancy_fertility/pregnancy_chickenpox.shtml

Try reading it again and then write it up from memory, it's amazing how much difference it will make smiley - ok

Gnomon - time to move on

I think you're going to need a good introduction to this. Exactly how to phrase it I'm not sure, because some women will be delighted and some distraught - you'll have to take the middle ground.

In the section on timing, you could expand on the 40 weeks, by explaining that pregnancy is actually about 38 weeks, but due to the difficulty of timing exactly when conception takes place, it is normal just to count 40 weeks from the (start of the?) last period. Since ovulation takes place about 2 weeks later, it is assumed that conception takes place about 2 weeks after the start of the period, and therefore, conception actually takes place at the end of the 2nd week of counting.
