Planet Kuboshi

The planet of Kuboshi is more random then a random thing that randomizes other random things randomly.
This is of course due to its massive portal count that spreads throughout the entire planet. Due to many different types of people and items landing on the planet, Kuboshi is very rich with several completely different cultures and practically squashes a few hundred planets in one, including everything from their weather cycles to their Gods.
Due to the excess amount of people arriving in Kuboshi from different worlds and universes, several governments were finding it hard to classify all that come through the portals and set up camp to live there.
To begin with they tried 'male & female' but that didn't seem to work as some beings didn't have a sex or kept changing it constantly through curse or morphing. They then tried 'humanoid, mostly humanish, alien, icky, and the rest, but this also failed due to different people's views on what was icky and what was not.
After researching several factors, borrowing some of Kiki's log files, and checking out the characters sheets for the main players who were chosen to save the galaxy, the government finally came up with a simple classification that would solve all the confusion and it was this;
'Those who like cats'
And
'Those who hate cats'.
