Hurrah!
Almost thought I was going to have to quote the entire film then.
To war. To war. To war we're going to go
With a hi-dee hi-dee, hi-dee hi-dee, hi-dee hi-dee-ho

Hurrah is as maybe, but it looks like I might have just damned myself. Ah well, it had to happen one day.
Okay, how about:
'Beware evildoers everywhere!'

If you've never seen Duck Soup then I'm afraid there can be no hope for you Blues Shark. And just to rub it in, it's not The Phantom. Sorry.

(I earnestly advise you to drop whatever you're doing and go out and find a copy and sit down with some popcorn and give yourself a treat!)

Sorry.
Never found the Marx Brother's funny. A bit like Chaplin, who was clever, but not funny.
Can't be Howard-I'm sure the rules say it has to be a movie that more than 25 people have seen...
Flash Gordon?

I don't get Chaplin either The Marx Bros on the other hand, I can watch until I fall off the chair
Don't know the quote though.

Bad luck Blues Shark, but you have my sympathy rather than anger: some people don't like cheese either.
You're all thinking along the right character lines but entirely the wrong film context. All part of my evil scheme don't y'know.

So are irrational prejudices, Blues Shark, and you know what these Marxists are like.
Not Mystery Men, Gosho, and I've just realised I forgot to research the film for another quote last night. Um... off the top of my head (and paraphrasing):
'I don't know why but it's a wonderful thing to have seen your teacher dancing naked.'

Blues Shark wins the money! Lovely film, Radio Days. My favourite scene is where the girl in the house is singing along to Carmen Miranda and her dad and uncle join in as backing singers.
Key: Complain about this post
