Going for and recieving an X-Ray

0 Conversations

Here is a distription of going to get an X-ray.

First you must find the hospital. It will be in the outskirts of the city in a place where an ambulence would take at least half an hour to get to, or in the most densly populated area of the city with constant traffic jams,

Once you are inside the hospital you must find the X-Ray department. You may be supplied with a map from 5 years ago or before the hospital suffered a major re-designing.
The X-ray department will be at the farthest point in the hospital from the entrance on the ground floor. A place where it would be painful to get to with a bad leg which is about to be X-rayed.

This is to prevent an extra complaints department being built.

Here is the logic in that statement:

If the X-ray department was next to the entrance there would not be as much complaints. Therefore people in the complaints department would be let go. The other emloyees posted in the complaints department would complain. Thus an extra complaints department would have to be built to handle their complaints.

Although if it was on the top floor and inaccessable for wheelchairs a similar amount of complaints would be put forward and an extra complaints department would have to be built. So its position is for the greater good. Of the hospitals financial supply.

Once you have reached the complaints department you will be placed in a waiting room. In this waiting room magizines from 1981 through to 1995 will be there for your "enjoyment". Either the crosswords will be blank, so you won't dare fill them in, or they are already completed.

Also there will be a small amount of toys for small children. These are made by companies which went out of buisness five years ago. A common toy is a blue spider with red wheels on its leg and yellow head with a string on top.

No matter how early you start off you will be late so you will be in this waiting room for over half an hour.

You then may be led into a room where you have to put on a blue dressing gown with the belt weither missing or hidden.

The X-ray is amazingly quick, the postures are difficult to keep in. They will take one from the side and te front. Each X-ray will take a 3 minutes to prepare and 3 seconds to take.

While this happens the attendants will hide behind a glass frame.
