You've put down Rainbow as his 'solo project'. To a layman (well, me) that could mean a band, or a composition, or an album. Stating 'band' would clear that up nicely.

Done. I've also made some changes to the end of the Mk III section - close reading of the sleeve notes reveals a discrepancy with Wikipedia over whether two Graz shows were recorded (on 3rd and 4th) or whether one show in Graz on *either* the 3rd or 4th was recorded. I've gone with the usually-reliable Simon Robinson (who now also gets a deserved mention, since he's responsible for the release of a fair fraction of the albums listed here).

Plus I've put the umlaut in Saarbrucken.

Hmph. Apparently I am now on pre-mod. Given this is the only thing I'm actively doing on Hootoo at the moment, I'm not quite sure why.

eh? no - it likely to be that old bug again. There were a lot of entries that got hidden following edits, I'm sorry but I can't remember where you should email to get it unhidden. lil may remember?

Don't worry about it, Giford. The message that says you are on pre-moderation is wrong.

This effect is usually caused by a dubious word in your entry. The entry gets automatically referred to the moderators, who check it out and quickly decide it is OK, at which stage it becomes visible again.

The problem is that if you change your entry, it will be sent to the moderators again, and again, and again. In each case, they usually clear it of all charges within a minute or two, but it is enough to irritate.

If you can identify the word that is causing the Entry to be checked, you could just remove it until the entry was ready. In some cases it is something like "gamble".

It looks good to me.

I have:

Worked out the problem word (it was descrbing Simon Robinson as German-for-'over' fan; I have changed it to 'superfan').

Been through the sleeve notes again and added a few extra details.

I am also toying with the idea of adding a 'recommended listening' section giving 3 - 5 albums that 'beginners' might like to start with. Of course, that would mean going back and listening to a lot of albums, and would take a while.

Is it too late to say I liked it better with the footnotes? I really don't know why people are so allergic to them, especially in cases like this where they really don't add to the text.

The table looks ugly in my opinion (the footnotes have the advantage of the hover text)

But apart from that - what a great entry. And now I want to go and see them again (with that fantastic encore of Black Night, Woman From Tokyo and Smoke on the Water in any order they choose)

Anyway, thanks Sho, me too . I'm making a dent in the re-listening and will post here when I am happy with the Entry again (sorry, was a spur-of-the-moment Entry that I clearly posted too hastily).

My copy of Live Encounters arrived in the post today - I hadn't heard of it until I started writing this.
