There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

Anyone know how to switch them off? When my cursor is over a link, an alt text box opens saying 'Address: [insert full url here]' on a yellowish background. Some of those urls - especially on shopping sites - can be pretty damn long, hundreds of characters in some cases, and they can obscure a good deal of content on the page.

I don't need them or want them, and although I've looked in the preferences I can't find a way to turn them off. Is there a setting I can access through the address bar?

They're called 'tooltips'! I should have known. What a muppet. Boy do I feel stoopid. Them Opera developers sure got one over on me there didn't they!
