I just read today that it was still a possibility - and the fact that it's (apparently) going to be Bob Shearman scripting the Daleks should only add to the jubilation that should be unconfined throughout Whodom. smiley - biggrin

(Mind you, we'll have to put up with 'it was the Sun wot won it' headlines tomorrow... but a small price to pay for such an agreeable development.)

(Pst, that would be 'Rob' Shearman - doesn't get called Bob. At least, not twice smiley - winkeye.)

Anyone who's heard Rob's audio play 'Jubilee' will know he's the best person to write for the daleks. It really captures the potential to be really, REALLY scary.

Next you'll be telling me that Welsh bloke doesn't like being called Rusty. smiley - biggrin

Ah yes, I was thinking of Roberto's magnum opus when I posted the original comment. A terrific piece of work even if (like rather a lot of Dr Who) it goes off the boil a bit in the closing stages.

Good news I'm sure, I just hope the series is gievn time to establish itself because the dustbins are wheeled in...

And I know I've raved about this before, but can someone *please* do a deal so we got to see Ray Cussick's updated designs on-screen? Please, pretty pretty pretty please? smiley - grovel

smiley - ale
