I'm writing this on behalf of my 13 yo daughter (she's too young to have an account)

What a shame that the bbc have put a block on repeats of doctor who on youtube. i've just been away on scout camp and missed the last episode, and all of the bbc3 repeats of it, and hoped to catch up on youtube. now i've found out that i can't get it, and don't know how long i'll have to wait until i can see it (while trying to avoid finding out what's happened before i see it).

i've watched all of the episodes for this series and was looking forward to seeing this one in particular. where else can i watch it? does anyone know?

The DVD will probably be out in a month or two. And I'd expect a BBC 3 repeat season sooner or later.

And the BBC iPlayer launches in a couple of weeks, so you should be able to watch the repeats online. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/6245062.stm

Except that iPlayer only plays what's been on TV in the last seven days, so it wouldn't have Doctor Who any more.

However, it looks like they're already repeating series 3 on BBC3 so watch the Radio Times and you should be able to catch it in a few weeks (they're running several times a week so it won't be too long).

Presumably iPlayer would contain the BBC3 repeats for a week after they've aired, or is it only for new programmes?

Yes, once BBC3 repeats them again, they should be on iPlayer (as far as I understand it, anyway).

And iPlayer isn't public until the 27th, so to avoid disappointment, I'd recommend you watch it or record it 'live', rather than rely on it being on iPlayer.

BBC3 tends to run them ALL over the summer hols anyway
